Landscape Care for HOA Common Areas and Managed Grounds in Palm Beach County

Landscaped HOA or condominium common grounds with turf, hedges, palms and a walking path

Home › B2B › Landscape Care

Common-area turf, hedges, trees and palms are among the most visible assets in a community. Our landscape care program inspects common grounds for insects, fungus and weeds, treats the cause of damage with integrated pest management (IPM), runs a 4R-based fertilization program, and reports to the manager after every visit. It works alongside your mowing and landscape contractor.

Brown entrance turf, ficus hedges thinned by whitefly or fire ants along walking paths are the first things residents and buyers notice. Large common areas also mean many irrigation zones and mixed sun and shade, so problems differ from one section of the property to another. Our certified operator is licensed in lawn and ornamental pest control, and members of our team owned and operated a landscaping company for 14 years, so we speak the same language as your landscape contractor.

What we care for on community grounds

  • Entrance and median turf, common lawns and amenity grounds: lawn care and fertilization.
  • Perimeter and privacy hedges, shrubs and beds: ornamental care, including whitefly treatment for ficus hedges.
  • Common-area trees and palms: tree and palm care, with feeding, insect control and root drench treatments where needed.

Landscape IPM for managed properties

  • Chinch bugs, sod webworms and other turf insects.
  • Weeds in turf and beds.
  • Fungus such as brown patch in cooler, wet months.
  • Whitefly, including ficus whitefly on perimeter and privacy hedges, plus scale and other insects on hedges, ornamentals and palms.
  • Moles in common lawns, with a mole repellent and bait program.
  • Fire ant mounds on lawns, playgrounds and dog parks.

How our community landscape program works

Grounds inspection by zone

We inspect turf, hedges, trees and palms across the property and note problem zones and irrigation issues.

Targeted treatments

Treatments go where the problems are, scheduled with resident notice.

Fertilization program

Fertilization follows the 4R model: right source, rate, time and placement, and the seasonal fertilizer rules that apply where your community is.

Reports for the manager

Each visit is documented with what was treated and what the landscape contractor should adjust.

Our landscape care page for homes covers the full range of turf, ornamental, tree and palm services.

Working with your landscape contractor

We don’t replace your landscaper. We handle the licensed pest control and fertilization work and coordinate with the crew on mowing height and irrigation. If your landscape company would rather bring us in itself, see our landscaper partner program.

Community landscape care FAQ

Do you replace our landscape contractor?

No. We focus on pests, disease and fertilization and coordinate with your landscaper on mowing height and irrigation.

Can you treat palms, trees and hedges on common property?

Yes, including common pests like whitefly and scale, plus feeding and root drench treatments on palms and trees where needed.

Our ficus hedges are losing leaves. Can you help?

Yes. Ficus whitefly is a common cause of leaf drop on Ficus benjamina hedges in South Florida, and UF/IFAS researchers note that some cities and HOAs require it to be controlled. We inspect the hedges, confirm the cause and treat whitefly as part of the community program. See ficus whitefly treatment.

Do residents get notice before treatments?

Yes. Visits are scheduled at least 24 hours ahead so managers can notify residents.

Do you care for business grounds and home lawns?

Yes. See landscape care for businesses and landscape care for homes.
