Commercial Termite Control and Treatment

Commercial termite control protects offices, retail centers, schools, hotels, healthcare facilities and industrial buildings from drywood and subterranean termites. We inspect the structure to identify the species and the extent of activity, recommend the treatment that fits the building and its occupants (Liquid Subterranean Termite Treatment, the Termite Baiting System with BASF Trelona, or Tent Fumigation for drywood termites), and document the findings for owners, managers and tenants.

Commercial buildings in Palm Beach County face the same four problem termites as homes: drywood, Asian subterranean, Formosan subterranean and native subterranean. The difference is scale and coordination. A treatment plan has to work around tenants, patients, students or guests, and it often needs sign-off from an owner, a property manager or a facilities director.

Where termites show up in commercial properties

  • Wood trim, door frames and millwork in offices, retail stores and hotel rooms.
  • Roof framing, soffits and wood-frame additions on older buildings.
  • Expansion joints and slab cracks where subterranean termites enter from the soil.
  • Wood pallets, crates and stored materials in warehouses and industrial spaces.
  • Portable classrooms and wood structures on school campuses.

How we handle termites in commercial buildings

Inspection and identification

We inspect accessible areas, identify the termite and map the activity so you know the scope before any decision.

Choosing a treatment

The right treatment depends on the termite and where it is:

  • Liquid Subterranean Termite Treatment: a liquid soil treatment around the foundation and soil entry points to stop subterranean termites coming up from the ground.
  • Termite Baiting System (BASF Trelona): bait stations installed in the ground around the building, with annual monitoring and renewal.
  • Tent Fumigation: for drywood termites inside the structure. See commercial tent fumigation.

We explain each option in terms of disruption, coverage and timeline.

Coordinating with occupants

We schedule work around business hours, classes or guest occupancy and give managers notice to share with tenants and staff.

Documentation

You get written inspection findings and a service report for each treatment. With the Termite Baiting System, annual monitoring visits are documented too.

Selling or buying a commercial or multifamily property? We also perform WDO inspections for real estate transactions, reported on Florida’s official Wood-Destroying Organisms Inspection Report (FDACS Form 13645).

Commercial termite FAQ

Can you treat termites without closing the business?

Often yes. Liquid Subterranean Termite Treatment and the Termite Baiting System work mainly around the outside of the building, with little disruption. Tent Fumigation requires the building to be vacated for a period.

Who should we call first if staff find wings?

Call us at (561) 725-5274 for an inspection. Wings can come from termites or swarming ants, and the treatment depends on which it is.

Do you work with property managers on termite issues?

Yes. Associations and managers can see termite programs for HOAs and property managers.

Do you do WDO inspections when a commercial property is sold?

Yes. Owners, buyers and property managers can order a WDO (wood-destroying organism) inspection for a sale or refinance. See WDO inspections for property sales or call (561) 725-5274 to talk through the property.

Do you treat homes too?

Yes. Homeowners can see termite inspection and treatment for homes.
