Commercial Rodent Control and Exclusion

Clean distribution warehouse with pallet racking, an open loading dock door and bait stations along the wall

Home › Commercial › Rodents & Roof Rats

A commercial rodent control program protects the building from the outside in. We inspect for entry points and activity, place tamper-resistant bait stations around the exterior where appropriate, use traps and monitors inside, and document every station and finding on a written service report. It’s built for Palm Beach County restaurants, warehouses and industrial sites, healthcare facilities, schools, hotels and retail centers.

Roof rats and mice in a business damage stock, wiring and insulation, contaminate food and supplies, and can trigger failed inspections or bad reviews. Commercial buildings have more ways in than a home: roll-up doors, roof penetrations, utility lines and constant deliveries.

Rodent risks by type of facility

  • Warehouses and industrial sites: dock doors left open, pallets and stored product, and gaps around utility lines.
  • Restaurants and food service: dumpsters, grease, deliveries and ceiling voids above kitchens.
  • Hospitals and healthcare: roof and mechanical penetrations, supply storage and food service areas.
  • Schools and daycares: cafeterias, portable classrooms and landscaping.
  • Hotels and retail centers: trash enclosures, back-of-house storage and dense landscaping.
  • Offices: ceiling voids, break rooms and palms or ficus hedges near the roofline.

How our commercial rodent program works

Site inspection

We inspect the exterior, roofline, doors, utility penetrations, storage and food areas to find activity and entry points.

Exterior stations and interior traps

Tamper-resistant bait stations go on the exterior where appropriate. Inside, we rely on traps and monitors instead of bait, so rodents don’t die in a wall or ceiling.

Entry point recommendations

We document gaps, door seals and roof penetrations that need repair and recommend fixes to your maintenance team.

Station maps and records

Each visit records station checks and findings, which helps with audits and third-party inspections.

Commercial rodent control FAQ

How often are bait stations checked?

That depends on the facility and the level of activity. We set the frequency in your service plan and can increase it when activity rises.

Do you place poison inside our building?

We generally don’t use bait inside occupied or food areas. Inside, we rely on traps and monitoring.

Can you help us pass an audit?

Our written service reports and station records give you the documentation auditors usually ask for. Requirements vary by program, so share your audit standard with us.

Do you treat roof rats in homes too?

Yes. Homeowners can see rodent and roof rat control for homes.
